1940s SILKY RAYON NOVELTY PRINT DRESS
Extraordinary whimsical novelty print 40s silky rayon vintage dress has images of large blooming roses, rosebuds, fans, sombreros and Spanish dancers in shades of rose, pink, ivory, and chartreuse scattered against a deep black background.
Kimono style bodice with shoulder padding, caplike sleeves, v neckline with winged collar and pleating just above inset waistband.
Full skirt has gathers in mid section of waist with diagonal pockets on either side of hips. Hemline gradually dips lower at the back middle seam, creating a nice flared effect. Side metal zipper closure. Label reads "Pickmoor, A Froug Fashion"

Near perfect vintage condition. Detected a few tiny pindot holes in back of skirt and an 1/8" hole at hem, but it's backed by the hem fabric and not noticeable when wearing.
