1970 B.H. WRAGGE PINK AND WHITE MOD SHIFT DRESS
Sidney Wragge started the BH Wragge clothing company back in the 1930's. Well known for their coordinating sportswear separates, clean lines and classic styles.
Here's their take on the iconic shift dress with a twist.
Making interesting use of color blocking, one side of the dress front is done in a pink silk shantung, the other in a heavyweight white linen. The two fabrics are cut to form a cutout just above the bust area.
There is a slit at the hem.
Dress fabric is backed by a white muslin fabric and also lined in white taffeta.
Back invisible zipper closure.
Label reads "B.H. Wragge, 70"
