1970s AVERARDO BESSI DRESS
Italian designer, Averardo Bessi, is noted for his beautiful print fabrics that are reminiscent of Emilio Pucci.
This 70s dress is quite a bit more subdued than what you usually see from him.
But it's a lovely dress nonetheless.
It's done in a lightweight, very soft silk/wool jersey knit that has a beautiful drape.
The neckline, sleeves and hem are trimmed in a black and blue mod floral print, adding an interesting accent to the basic black dress.
Princess seaming.
Full, flared skirt.
Invisible back zipper.
Label reads "Averardo Bessi, Made in Italy"
Size on label says Medium, but the measurements indicate this is a large dress. It's pinned back in order to fit on the dress form.
