40's Jantzen Blue Knit Swimsuit/Bathing Suit
40s vintage swimsuits are not easy to come by, especially in this amazingly good condition. The fabric is some type of knit in a deep royal blue. It has a nap, almost like a fine terrycloth, with a sheen to it. Suit has princess seaming and the cutest white daisy applique trimming the skirt hem and top of bodice. Straps are adjustable. There are attached matching underpants with elasticized legs. Label reads "Jantzen, Hathaway, Shaker Square".
Measurements- bust 34-36 waist 30, hips 36", middle of bodice to waist 9", waist to hem 13",leg opening stretches from 18" to 20".
Excellent vintage condition.
