40's SILKY RAYON FLORAL PEPLUM DRESS
Fabulous 40s vintage dress in the coolest slinky rayon fabric, has sweet little golden yellow flowers with green stems scattered across the deep black background.
There are great details to this dress, including the gathering at the shoulder seams and the bottom of V neckline, creating a lovely draping effect where it is decorated with a matching fabric bow.
Tulip sleeves are cut loosely so they drape nicely.
Flared A line skirt is a cut little longer in back, where there are multiple gores, creating a fishtail type effect.
Attached front peplum is gathered up on sides. Dropped inset waistband in back has an attached gathered flouncy graduated peplum that comes down in two points, like tails, and meets at the middle seam. 12" metal zipper is placed in the middle back of dress. Original matching belt is included.

Near perfect vintage condition. No fading, stains, tears. Two minor issues. Fabric on belt buckle is worn and there is a very thin 1 1/2" run in the fabric at back neckline. Really have to look closely to find .
