50'S STYLE EMBROIDERED RED SATIN HALTER DRESS w/Black Velvet Piping Trim

A 50's inspired dress from the Blue Velvet Vintage signature line. You won't find it anywhere but here!
The "Satin Doll" evening dress is a classic late 40s/early 50s new look style done in a medium weight low luster crimson red duchesse satin with a subtle red metallic embroidered floral design. The red has no orange tone to it, in case it appears that way on your monitor.
Bodice features a curve hugging fit with gathered bust and plunging neckline. The back is high enough to accomodate a strapless bra.
Pleated halter straps close at back of neck with large hook and eye.
The V shaped seam beneath the bust is trimmed in black velvet piping, as is the waistline.
Full, flared skirt has a 128" sweep.
Lined bodice.
Back nylon zipper closure.
