50'S SWING DRESS-BLUE PRINCESS STYLE W/GORED PANELS

OooWee Baby! It's not often you happen upon a sizable stash of unworn vintage dresses from the 1950s, never mind the fact that they're in generous sizes and very cute and stylish to boot! It was definitely our lucky day!
From a recent estate find, a lovely 50's day dress in a deep sky blue medium to heavyweight rayon linen fabric that has a beautiful drape to it. Makes the skirt swing nicely!
Fitted, sleeveless bodice with square cut neckline.
Two inverted pleats originate from seaming beneath bust.
Decorative fabric covered buttons.
Dress is princess style, with no waist seam and multiple rows of vertical seaming through the fitted mid section, becoming the gored panels of the full, flared swing skirt.
Matching fabric belt accompanies the dress.
Back metal zipper closure.
Unlined.
