50s/60s WALTAH CLARKE HAWAIIAN FLORAL SUNDRESS
Stunning vintage hawaiian print dress from the late 50's/early 60's was made expressly for Waltah Clarke's, a chain of upscale boutiques selling resort wear in many vacation spots, including Disneyland, Beverly Hills, Palm Springs, Laguna Beach and Las Vegas.
Nice crisp medium weight cotton in a large scale floral print done in various hues of pink and green against a background of muted honey gold shades.
Fitted sweetheart bodice has princess seaming and four rows of matching diagonal piping.
Back has two sections of elastic smocking, still tight for a nice snug fit. Adjustable straps can also be tied halter style.
Bust area is lined in pellon interfacing and self fabric. There is also pellon lining two section of back bodice.
Very full gathered skirt.
Back metal zipper closure.
Label reads "Waltah Clarke's Hawaiian Shop"

There are a couple of small tears in the back pellon interfacing and the pellon has also become detached from waist seam in two spots. Doesn't affect appearance or wearability of dress. Overall excellent condition.
