50's FRED PERLBERG STRAPLESS SHELF BUST GOWN
Gorgeous irridescent taffeta 50's evening gown, perfect for prom, formal wedding or black tie event.
Deep emerald green fabric with a blue shimmer.
Strapless bodice.
Boning front and back.
A layer of scalloped edge taffeta frames the pleated tulle covered shelf bust.
Full taffeta skirt, with scalloped edge in front, is tucked and pulled up just below waist seam to show the gathered tulle beneath. Another layer of green taffeta is attached beneath the tulle.
Side metal zipper closure.
Label reads "Fred Perlberg, Dance Originals"

Bust 33" B/C cup (15" across top of back, 18" front)

Ribcage-just below bust 29"
Side bodice to waist 8"

Good to very good condition.This gown is structurally sound. There are, however, several small faint spots on skirt , an area of of discoloration abut 2" around (looks like a water spot, but very light) and a repair in the tulle at the hem. Due to the fullness of the skirt this all pretty much blends in and is not noticeable at all.
Gown presents beautifully.
