50's LACE FULL SKIRT PARTY DRESS
Enchanting 50's vintage dress would be perfect for a vintage themed wedding.
A cafe au lait color lace made up of interwoven patterns of flowers, trailing vines and spider webs. Quite beautful and unique.
The lace overlays a warm pinky peach taffeta.
Fitted bodice has wide gathered straps attached at yoke, that curve over the shoulder, creating a cap like sleeve.
Back bodice neckline dips to a slight V.
Ballet length skirt is gathered and very full, with over a 350" sweep.
Hem is asymmetrical, with the lace dipping lower by about four inches on right front of skirt. I'm assuming it was designed this way, as I've had other 50s dresses with similar skirts.
The dress closes on the side with hooks and eyes. Professional seamstress could easily replace with a zipper, if desired.
There are belt loops, but original belt it missing.

Bust 36" with darts to accomodate a B/C cup
Waist 26"
Hips open
Top of shoulder to waist 16 1/2"
Waist to hem 30"
To ensure proper fit, please be sure your own measurements are a bit smaller to allow room for movement.
There is a light stain, that did not come out with cleaning, on the back seam of the taffeta skirt. It does not show through the lace, so not detracting at all. Otherwise dress is in overall excellent condition.
