50's Pinup Style Hawaiian Sarong Swimsuit
Sexy pinup style 50's swimsuit/playsuit in a stylized hibiscus print cotton in various shades of blue and green with a touch of tan, against a white background. Bodice is fully lined, has built in bra with boning on sides, elasticized back sections, button straps that could also be worn halter style, and a pleated section of fabric that assymetrically wraps the bustline. There is a little sarong skirt on bottom that wraps and ties on the side, Underneath are matching elastic leg pants. There is a back metal zipper with a section of boning sewn beside it. Label reads "Miss Hawaii-Made and styled in Hawaii".
Measurements-bust 36/38. I measured the actual bra cup inside. It is 6" from one side, down into the cup and up the other side or 5" across. You may want to measure a bra or similar garment to ensure proper fit. I'm guessing its around a B cup. waist-27, hips 38", top of bodice to waist 9 1/2", waist to hem of skirt 11".
Good vintage condition. Elastic in back is pretty good. Not as tight as new, but still a good amount of stretch in it. Elastic on pant legs has stretched. It is possible to wear the way it is and they'd look like super short shorts! Otherwise fabric is in great condition, no holes, tears, fading
