50's Red Full Skirt Prom Party Dress w/Lace Shelf Bust
Bright lipstick red taffeta 1950's prom/party dress.
Fitted sweetheart shelf bust bodice is overlaid with a layer of ivory floral lace covered taffeta.
Double spaghetti straps loop together at shoulder.
Boning front and back.
Ruched mid-section.
Very full, gathered skirt has 240" sweep.
Back of skirt has two swags and two long sashes attached at waistline.
A red ruffled tulle slip is attached beneath. Another petticoat was added for display purposes. Sold separately.
Side metal zipper closure.
Measurements-

Top of strap to waist 16 1/2"
Waist to hem 28"
To ensure proper fit, please be sure your own measurements are a bit smaller to allow breathing room.
Good condition. There are a couple of breaks in the lace (pictured) A corsage was pinned there for the photos. It will be included with the dress. But even without, it's not super noticeable.
There is a faint line where hem has been lowered and tiny needle marks from where the hem used to be.
Very minor abrasion to edges of one of the straps.
Dress presents beautifully. None of these condition issues really detract.
