50's SHEER PINK SILK OVER TAFFETA PARTY DRESS
Enchanting, ladylike special occasion dress from the early 1950s.
Sheer pink silk mesh fabric over taffeta.
Similar to organza, but with a slight open weave.
Fitted surplice bodice with portrait collar and lace cap sleeves.
Very full, flared skirt with a lace swag at the waist and two lace panels on the skirt.
Matching belt accompanies the dress.
Side metal zipper closure.
There are thin straps inside bodice to keep dress on shoulders.
