50s/60s VINTAGE PARTY DRESS- RUCHED BODICE & FULL TIERED LACE SKIRT

A smashing vintage evening dress for the feminine femme fatale. From the late 1950's, early 60's and reminiscent of a Spanish flamenco dancer, with its full skirt of ruffled tiers.
Sexy ruched surplice bodice in a deep black soft, velvety knit fabric with wide ruched waistband.
Both the waistband and below the shoulder area have rows of stitching where the fabric is gathered.
Deep V neckline in back.
Lined in black taffeta.
Black taffeta skirt is overlaid by white tulle with cascading tiers of ruffled black lace.
The skirt was designed for the lace/tulle hemline to dip lower in back.
There is a fine black tulle slip attached beneath the taffeta skirt.
Back metal zipper closure.
Label reads "Carol Craig"
Actual garment measurements-
Bust 37" (17" across widest part of back, 20" across fullest area in front) Will best fit someone with a 35/36" bust.
