60's ALFRED SHAHEEN MOD FLORAL SARONG HALTER DRESS
Not the typical style of sarong dress you usually see from Hawaii's master screenprinter, but definitely cute nonetheless!
Brilliant mod floral print polished cotton in shades of burnt orange, caramel, tuscan gold, teal blue and grape.
Self fabric built in bra with boning.
Double gold fabric loops create the assymetrical halter tie closure.
Slightly fitted through waistline.
Sarong style skirt has gold fabric edging.
Elastic smocking inside back bodice top.
Nylon zipper closure.
Great little dress for resort or cruise wear.
Label reads "Alfred Shaheen"

Overall excellent condition, though it looks like there was a previous bit of dye run in a couple of areas before we laundered it. You'd have to look very closely to notice it, as it is very faint and blends with the print. The washing instructions do read "Hand wash only". We washed it using cool water and it did remain colorfast.
