60s CURVY BLACK BOMBSHELL COCKTAIL DRESS
The style of this dress is very similar to one worn by Michelle Pfeiffer's character, Velma Von Tussle, in the recent remake of "Hairspray."
Late 50s, early 1960s shapely cocktail dress is a perfect look for the modern bombshell.
Medium weight black fabric has a slight sheen and feels like a silk/cotton blend. Burn test does indicate the fabric is a natural fiber.
Tank style bodice has a scooped neckline in front that dips lower in back.
Black draped chiffon is attached at neckline then becomes two floating panels in back.
Seaming through mid section creates a curve hugging fit.
Back kick pleat and metal zipper closure.
Dress is unlined.
