60's PINK EMBROIDERED FULL SKIRT SHIRTWAIST DRESS
Here's another late 50s/early 60s classic shirtwaister that we like refer to as a "Betty Draper Dress", since it reminds us of the feminine Grace Kelly like fashions worn by the glamorous wife in the Mad Men television series.
This cotton candy pink day dress has eyecatching floral embroidery down the bracelet length sleeves and back of bodice.
Wide peter pan type collar comes to a point in back.
Sleeves have gathering just above the french button cuffs.
Fitted bodice with waist and bust darts.
Very full skirt with pleating at waist seam.
Original belt missing. Shown with black belt for display purposes. Not included.
Dress closes with vintage pink lucite and mother of pearl buttons that are not original to dress.
