60's Alix of Miami Blue Playsuit Romper Swimsuit
Alix of Miami made some of the prettiest resort wear in the 50s and 60s. This adorable playsuit/romper from the early 1960s is positively adorable with its white floral embroidered bodice and cute little flower appliques on the shorts.
~Sky blue cotton sateen.
~Fitted bodice with vertical seaming originating at waist and center bust to give it shape.
~Built in bra with moulded plastic mesh cups.
~Adjustable straps.
~Elasticized back.
~Boy cut shorts.
~Back metal zipper closure.
~Bodice is lined in white cotton. Nylon panty is attached beneath shorts.
~Label reads "Alix of Miami, Florida's first name in American fashion."

Overall excellent condition- There is an extremely faint small yellowish spot on back of shorts by right side seam and one on back bodice to right of zipper that did not come out with laundering. These are so faint you really have to look closely to locate them. Not detracting at all. Mentioning for accuracy.
There is some type of coating between the nylon that lines the bra cups and the plastic mesh on the other side. It has started to disintegrate. It's inside the bra cups, so it's not noticeable and doesn't affect the wearing of the garment. You have to hold it up to the light to even see it.
