KARL LAGERFELD FITTED RED SKIRT SUIT
Striking lipstick red skirt suit, circa 1990, in a beautiful viscose rayon fabric that feels like a silk jersey knit.
Lots of interesting seaming in the fitted jacket.
Assymetrical front with multi color and goldtone checkered button closures.
Sleeves have zippers and cuffs.
There were probably shoulder pads in this jacket at one time. as the sleeves appear a little long on the mannequin. Would be simple to add them again to give some structure to the jacket.
Pencil style skirt has back kick pleat and invisible zipper closure.
Suit is lined in a red silky acetate.
Labels read "Karl Lagerfeld, Made in France" and "Neiman Marcus"
