MR DINO 60S PUCCI INSPIRED MINI DRESS
According the the Vintage Fashion Guild Label Resource, Max Cohen got the name for his Miami based clothing company from his wife who loved Dean Martin. He not only designed all the prints that went on his garments, he actually invented the screenprinting machine to do it!
This fabulous little late 60s mini dress came from a lovely lady who had quite the impressive resortwear collection. She told us she purchased all her Mr Dino and Pucci dresses for her frequent trips to Las Vegas. She has been storing them all these years and now hopes someone else will get as much enjoyment from wearing them as she did!
This print is definitely inspired by Pucci, with its swirling op art designs in shades of aqua, olive, white, navy blue and the palest dove gray.
The V neckline, hem and waistline have a contrasting border print. The skirt and the border print band sewn at the hem are stamped with the Mr Dino signature.
Fabric is a synthetic blend medium weight jersey knit with a smooth, silky feel.
Adjustable waistline with matching fabric drawstring belt.
Back nylon zipper closure.
Label reads "Mr. Dino, New York, Paris, Florence"
