60's Mad Men Style Novelty Print Classic Shirtwaist Dress On of a kind vintage shirtwaist dress from the early 60's, just like the style worn by mid century housewives on the Mad Men television series. ~Very unique, novelty print cotton fabric has an abstract patterned background with splashes of color in pink, coral. yellow, gold, tan, sage green and white with touches of black. Animals and other symbols, resembling primitive cave drawings, are scattered throughout. ~Shirtwaist style bodice has notched collar, patch pockets and fabric covered button closures. ~Elbow length sleeves have cuffs with button closure. ~Full skirt has pleating at waist seam. ~Label reads "Carl Naftal Originals, California" Actual Garment Measurements- But 40" (best fits a 36-38 bust) Waist 28" Shoulder to waist 15 1/2" Waist to hem 25" Dress was hemmed up 1 1/2". Could be lowered if desired. Excellent condition. Shown with petticoat for display purposes. Sold separately. Belt not included |
