  1. Hi Laura, thanks for visiting our blog! We always suggest buying the gown you are planning on wearing to your prom as soon as you decide. It is very common for styles to run out closer to prom season and we sometimes cannot restock in time from our manufacturers. So to ensure you get the prom dress of your dreams, buy early:)

  2. My prom theme this year is going to be “Old Hollywood Glamour – and you defintly gave me some ideas. I will be coming back to your site when it get’s closer. Do you sell out of your gowns quickly?

  3. Jean Harlow was such a beauty – she is my style icon. These dresses really do look like something she would have worn.

  4. Oops! You are so right. Thanks so much for calling that to my attention. Have corrected. Do you happen to know how much Jayne’s spotted gown sold for at auction? And thank you for taking the time to comment and also sharing my blog with others. Really appreciate it :)

  5. Rachel, glad you like our choices. You can always contact us directly on our website if you have questions about any of our dresses. We’d love to help you find something fabulous:)

  6. Hi- I just discovered your site and the photo selection is amazing. As the former president of the Jayne Mansfield fan club I wanted to inform you that the photo that you have in your past mermaid gown article is actually of British Marilyn clone Diana Dors NOT Jayne Mansfield. Jayne did “rock” this style though. Her most famous mermaid gown was a jungle cat patterned one that was sold in an auction recently. Enjoyed your views on vintage fashion and will share your site with others. Keep up the good work!

  7. Wow! All of these gowns are stunning! My favorite is the silver sequined and black chiffon with rhinestones. I can’t wait for a fancy event to wear one to!
