Red is one of my favorite colors, especially for evening wear, as it definitely makes you stand out from the crowd.  And, of course, Christmas and New Year’s is a perfect time of year to wear a glamorous crimson or scarlet vintage frock to a fancy holiday event.   

Here’s a 50s red crepe empire waist gown offered at Woodland Farm Vintage.  Love the assymetrical sequined pattern on the bodice and the sarong like gathering on the left side of the skirt.  And at $225.00, it’s a very reasonable price for such a stunning special occasion dress.
