I’m sooo excited that dresses are still going to be a big trend in 2008, especially lacey and ruffled feminine looks, bright floral prints and maxi styles. Of course, all of us vintage loving gals never tire of dresses and looking like a lady, no matter what the current fashion! We’ll just have more choices this year, as beautiful vintage inspired dresses for spring/summer 08 were all over the runways.

Here’s a smashing 50’s party dress I found over at Past Perfect Vintage, that would be perfect for a special New Year’s event. Created by Ceil Chapman, who was one of Marilyn Monroe’s favorite designers. Shimmery beaded, sequined and draped bodice and floaty golden silk chiffon skirt. Ooo-lala!
Found this spectacular 60’s dress for sale at Dorothea’s Closet . Angie always has a fab selection of "knock em dead" glamour dresses and this one is no exception! The gorgeous red color is perfect for upcoming holiday parties. Sexy one shoulder style with chiffon wrap front and long flowing panel in back, highlighted by a shimmery gold border, adds a hint of Roman goddess to the shapely silhouette.
