SILVER BEADED PINK CREPE 1960's COCKTAIL DRESS

Delectable dream of a dress from the early 60's in bubblegum pink rayon crepe fabric.
Front of fitted bodice is decorated in silvery bugle and seed beads.
On the back of bodice a section of fabric, attached at each shoulder, drapes down and reattaches at center zipper area. A pleated swag of fabric, where the two pieces of fabric meet, gives the illusion that the pieces have been tied at the back center of waist. Very clever design detail!
Pencil style skirt is cut to curve at the hip, then narrows a bit toward hem. Back slit for ease of movement.
Dress is completely lined in pink taffeta.
Back metal zipper closure.

Hips 40"
Shoulder seam to waist 15"
Waist to hem 23"
Dress has been hemmed. Could be lowered at least 2- 2 1/2" if desired.
Excellent condition. No flaws noted that affect wearability or appearance.
