Elegant, authentic designer vintage dress from the 1950s is a special look for a special occasion.

Larry Aldrich was a designer known for his classic Parisian influenced fashions, his extensive art collection and contributions to the art world. The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art is named after him. Even Grace Kelly, one of the most stylish women in history, wore his clothing!

-Dior's New Look inspired silhouette in black silk crepe.
-Kimono style Fitted bodice with wide scooped neckline. Bow trim has dangling pear shaped rhinestone crystal accents.
-Very full flared tea length skirt decorated with horizontal rows of cording trimmed with bows that match the neckline.
-Skirt is lined in heavyweight taffeta with a wide horsehair hem.
-Matching belt accompanies the dress.
-Side metal zipper.

Dress is in pristine condition. No flaws noted. Belt backing and buckle shows a bit of wear.

Shown with two petticoats for display purposes. Sold separately. Because of the weight of the fabric, if you prefer a lot of lift to this skirt two petticoats are recommended. Choose one for less fullness or looks fine worn without.
