5 Glamorous Vintage Inspired Looks for New Year’s Eve

Five Classic Glamour Looks for New Years Eve

Even if you don’t dress up much the rest of the year, New Year’s Eve is definitely a night to go all out in the fashion department.  Whether you’re having a party at home or going out to a nightclub or dinner dance,  it’s the perfect opportunity to splurge on something glamorous to wear.

And if you love retro glamour, why not put together a vintage inspired outfit that represents your favorite era or a classic movie star style? So here are 5 Polyvore outfit sets I put together using items from my web boutique, each of which would surely help you ring in the New Year in standout style.

Think Phryne Fisher of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, silent film stars Louise Brooks or Clara Bow.  You can never go wrong with a chic 1920s inspired look to celebrate New Year’s in.

The first is a more formal look and the second is great if you’ll be doing a lot of dancing!

“We will open the book.  Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.” Edith Lovejoy Pierce
