10 Retro Christmas Gift Ideas from Indie Businesses

retro christmas gift ideas

Now that the  holidays are upon us,  many people go into a frenzy trying to find the perfect something for friends and family.  Shopping the big box stores, either in person or online,  usually turns up uninspiring choices of the same old stuff. Being a small business owner,  I prefer to support “mom and pop” stores when I can,  and encourage others to do the same. You can often find something unique that you wouldn’t see in the mall. Plus you get to help out an independent business person.

And if you’re a fan of all things vintage,  retro and kitsch,  why not share that love this holiday season?

Below I’ve included 10 ways to infuse your gift giving with retro flair, that will also help support indie businesses too!

Love that apron too! And I’ve sent those cards to people and everyone loves them. They really standout.

Why buy something uninspiring from the big shops, when there are so many wonderful things to be had elsewhere, if you take the time to look. I particularly love the cocktail print apron, and those kitschy Christmas cards! Oh, and a tinsel wreath with a Bambi, please! xxx
